TLC from Adrian

I don't even remember when exactly this happened.  I only recalled that it was quite an unlucky winter for me.

First I slipped and fell on my in-laws' icy driveway.  BTW, I was holding Adrian by the hand at the time, so he fell with me.  He was laughing and said, "that was fun, can we do that again?"  Fun? I went to physio, chiropractor, and chinese chiropractor ("iron beat") for exactly 2 months before I recovered.  I even went to see a neurologist once.  Since my neck hurt a lot and I couldn't turn my head or move my arm quickly, our EVP at work said I looked older than him.  He was 58 years old.

Within the recovery, I also slided down the stairs, 6 or 7 steps.  I was holding a whole bunch of stuff while walking down.  My socks were too slippery on the carpet so I slided.  I was so shocked that tears were pouring out my eyes.  Daddy ran to see what happened and Adrian came to sit down beside me at the stairs.  What he said made all my pain disappear:

"Mommy, do you need a bandage?"  He was 2 years and 5 months old then.

Breakfast

I was getting ready for work while I heard Adrian crawling down the stairs.  He's not even 4 years old yet.   When I got down to the main floor, there I saw him already sitting in his high chair eating the first breakfast he had ever made for himself - cheese slice and yogurt drink.  Well, guess I should say, it's the first breakfast he had ever "taken out from the fridge" by himself.

First Dancing Ball

We took Adrian and Olivia to a dinner organized by the HKCU Alumni at Century Palace Restaurant.  I was worried that they would be overwhelmed by the loud music.  Instead they were fasinated and enjoyed so much dancing on the floor, sometimes even on stage!  They were born to be performers.   It's their first dancing ball.

Globe and Mail

Ho was picked by Globe and Mail to be interviewed to comment on the latest Federal Budget.  A reporter came to our house a week prior to take pictures of the family.  So a picture of our whole family was on national newspaper on March 20, 2007.   It's funny that the reporter was amazed to see me putting Olivia on my laps when I changed diaper for her.  Luckily she didn't take a picture of us when I did that.
