Adrian brought a pledge form home from school. I was expecting him to ask me to sponsor him in his jump rope activity.
Me: Adrian, aren't you supposed to ask me something?
Adrian: Oh, mommy, raise money for me!
Me: No, you're supposed to raise money by asking us to sponsor you.
Adrian: But the school told us to raise money with your family. So I asked you to raise it.
